In this international role you generate sales through developing and maintaining relationships with key customers (distributors, grower(-groups), consultants and other stakeholders) within the horticultural Industry. Develop distributor strategy, partnership plan and strong distribution network supporting the total Grodan portfolio. Your goals will refer to sales volume, product mix, customer mix and contribution margin. Your focus is also to establish, maintain and improve effective relations and networks with internal and external stakeholders and adapt your style to national cultures.
As a strong sales professional you exploit all sales opportunities within your regional area and implement business-, action- and pricing plans to deliver on budgeted figures. You will further identify potential customers, trends and projects in your area, and you also know what your competitors are up to. We work in a structured and professional way (CRM), so we keep our preferred position in the market. The geographical scope of the job will be Mediterranean and Middle East area.

Grodan was at the basis of sustainable horticulture by making it possible to grow on stone wool. Since then we further advanced this way of growing and today, we’re market leader enabling our customers to grow in the most efficient and sustainable way. By using fewer valuable resources like water, space and nutrients they can optimize their crops. Recently we launched a new open software platform which integrates greenhouse data and provides growers better business insights. You will be part of the Grodan Sales Export department (4 sales professionals), HQ in Roermond and report to the Sales Manager Export. In this role you will closely work together with Customer Service, Business Support, Supply Chain and Marketing, and you will travel internationally, around 30% of your time.
