Location: ROCKWOOL PLOIESTI Plant, Romania
You will report to the Factory manager and be part of the management team of the factory of 7 colleagues.
Main tasks will be:
- Ensure the internal and external audits are completed and maintained according to the audit schedule including communication with external auditors, internal co-ordination and follow up of actions/ nonconformities
- Lead, manage, motivate and develop the quality team consisting of 13 people, with regular team meetings and prioritisation of tasks
- Selects, manages and evaluates the team members with the help of the HR Department
- Raise awareness, understanding and improve the culture of Quality and Sustainability across the local organization, with info share of audit results, posting news and general communications
- Working with the team to improve and ensure compliance of our sustainability standards and drive improvements in Sustainability process, documentation, checks and calculations
- Promotes quality, advises and coordinates the various quality stakeholders to continually advance the quality assurance system at the factory
- Oversee quality and sustainability day to day activities and projects
- Maintaining legislative and best practice knowledge and ensuring any changes are reflected in the processes though update of the legal overview and changed circumstances
- Train new employees on company’s approach to sustainability as well as other employees about sustainability topics when required
This is what you offer
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industrial production field, coordinating the quality of production processes as Quality Manager
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading a quality team in both knowledge and project related tasks
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sustainability or Environmental Management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a technical profile (chemical engineer, metallurgist, Electrical/Mechanical engineering)
- Internal and/or external audit qualification(s) with demonstrated practical experience
- Knowledge and experience in working with quality and sustainability associated standards
- Computer literate and comfortable using standard MS Office applications such as SharePoint, Teams and Excel; SAP knowledge is a must
- Very good knowledge of Quality Management systems, quality methods & tools, experience with customer interface and customer management in quality challenges
- Advanced Romanian and English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proactive and open attitude for professional challenges, motivating attitude and teamwork skills
- Results/ solution-oriented behaviour is expected, good analytical and synthesis capacity of the obtained results
- High sense of accountability and business ethics
