This is who we are
Legal department is responsible for providing legal assistance across the ROCKWOOL Group and oversees numerous aspects within legal and compliance.The ROCKWOOL Group data protection organisation consists of the GDPO and Local Data Protection Officers (LDPOs). You will be part of our in-house legal department with 8 team members, including the Group Data Protection Officer (GDPO). The entire ROCKWOOL Group global legal team consists of 17 colleagues.
This is the role
You will be based in our Shared Services Centre (SSC) at our brand-new offices in Poznan and report to the legal department in Denmark.
As our new GDRP Compliance Expert, you will work closely together with our GDPO and the LDPOs to ensure GDPR compliance in all aspects of our business and to mature our data protection efforts.
You will also regularly collaborate with your legal colleagues abroad, often through online meetings and occasionally face-to-face, when you travel to our global headquarters in Denmark.
Your work will have positive ramifications throughout the ROCKWOOL Group – you will be crucial in helping your colleagues appreciate and implement good data privacy practices.
In your daily work, you can expect to be:
Defining and implementing data protection requirements and standards across all aspects of the business, with particular emphasis on digital solutions,
Managing and improving digital tools for data process mapping,
Preparing and rolling out improvements through updating our policies, manuals, procedures and templates,
Conducting compliance training of personnel,
Increase and strengthen compliance messages via various platforms,
Supporting other projects related to data protection as a member of the ROCKWOOL data protection organization.
This is what you offer
You are a naturally extrovert person, who is not afraid to stand up in front of management and colleagues to deliver a message. You can convey even the most convoluted concepts in a simple and understandable way. A keen eye for detail and a high degree of organisation in your work is a plus.
As to the specifics:
It is a requirement that you hold a master’s degree, preferably in law, but other relevant degrees can also be considered,
It is a requirement that you have at least 3 years of experience from a similar position, preferably in an international company,
It is a must that you are fluent in both written and spoken English.
