This is who we are
Your colleagues in the Group Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) department are looking forward to welcoming you as the tenth member. Group SHE, your new department, consists of different, small dynamic teams that work closely together. We want you to participate in the collaborative effort of the environment team.
Essentially, what we do is optimise environmental performance and standards at our factories, and that includes being there physically, supporting environmental managers and factories in many different ways.
This is the role
The most important stakeholders are the factories and our engineering and development departments. You FACILITATE ENSURANCE OF help to ensure that the factory follows legal requirements and Group standards, e.g. via SHE audits ONSITE. You continuously improve environmental performance, both in working with the factories and with projects in our engineering and development departments.
Your key to success is to collaborate closely with factories in many different cultures. You listen and understand the factory needs, you support the local environmental managers and you work closely with them to make sure that best practices are something that everyone actively follows.
This is what you offer
You possess technical and legal environmental knowledge that you can use and explain to stakeholders of different levels. You have experience in environmental management (ISO 14001), project management, auditing and training.
It is important that you know how to prioritise tasks and manage your time, because this is a job with many different areas of responsibility. Communication and teamworking skills are key because you will need close working relationships.
