POSITION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER, Eastern US

This is the Role:

The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales and will be ideally based out of the Eastern US areas of Ohio, Chicago, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania. In this role you will be responsible for leading a regional team of sales professionals in keeping with Grodan policies, providing motivation and guidance to ensure that agreed upon targets are met or exceeded.

Key Result Areas

•          Meet or exceed agreed upon sales forecasts for volume and revenue

•          Assume full responsibility for sales volume, revenue and margin targets in the region

•          Develop a comprehensive sales plan aimed at achieving goals and review quarterly

•          Cultivate superior relationships with colleagues and customers, ensuring long term success

•          Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, travel and sales plans, customer pitches and/or presentations, and other as needed requests to the Director of Sales

•          Provide analytics as required to effectively drive growth and for internal reporting needs

•          Make full use of all digital tools including ROCKSELL (CRM), tracking 100% of activity on a weekly basis

This is what you offer:

  • 5 years’ experience working in sales including senior management roles
  • 5 years’ industry related experience in retail, horticultural, manufacturing or distribution in the indoor/outdoor growing markets
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (presentations) and attention to detail
  • Experienced and skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Word and Excel, PPT
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability on accuracy and data integrity
  • College education.
  • Knowledge of modern IT business tools
  • Drive, commitment, self-motivation and high energy.
  • Ability to work under pressure,
  • Problem solving abilities with practical business sense
