POSITION: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, GRODAN
Grodan’s main business is to supply innovative and sustainable stone wool growing media solutions for the professional horticultural sector, based on Precision Growing principles. These solutions are, amongst others, applied for the cultivation of vegetables and flowers, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, egg plants, roses and gerberas.
This is the role:
This position reports directly to the North American Supply Chain Manager. As a Customer Service Representative, you are the linking pin between our operational departments and our (international) customers. The goal is to provide customers the feeling that Grodan is always close by. You are responsible for excellent customer service, order taking, processing, and invoicing, for the customer, and support to the sales team. Grodan is a 9+ organization and your customer focus is crucial.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Ideally available to work flexible hours scheduled between 8:00AM to 6:30PM.
Main Job Tasks:
Ensure optimal (internal & external) customer satisfaction and delivery service.
Produce information regarding products, prices and delivery times to out (internal) customers.
Support our Account Managers in commercial processes like tendering, order collection and relationship management with customers.
Provide first level support on products sold.
Independently record and process customer orders for a set of different markets received by, a.o.; email, phone, EDI or any other format.
Independently handle customer complaints.
Liaise with Production Planning and Logistics to assure production and delivery dates, product information and service.
Increase customer experience by continuously improving processes (independently or as a part of a team.)
Attain a high level of involvement and commitment to the mission, values and goals of the Grodan Group in general and the Business Unit Supply Chain and Sales in particular.
Manage customer onboarding from: Customer master data, completion of supplier audit forms, account setup and ensure guidelines are followed with company’s policy.
This is what you offer:
Excellent Computer Skills – CRM system proficient, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, SAP or ERP system proficient.
Experience in working with SAP (and for NA experience in customer master data)
Basic Accounting Knowledge
Minimum College Diploma
Customer contact experience, 3-4 years manufacturing or Order Entry experience
Polite, efficient, good communication skills, well organized
Sensitivity and ability to adapt to business cultures and customers.
Capable to perform, plan and organize all activities based on relevancy and urgency
Capacity to search for solutions, to solve problems, to initiate actions and to improvise in an independent way
