Process Lead

We are seeking a Process Lead based in our factory located in Byhalia, MS to join the Operations team.

The shift timings for this position would be 10:00 PM to 6:00 Am Monday to Friday.  

What you will be doing:

The Process Lead assists in the on-shift production of ceiling tiles in accordance with plans, product specifications, quality, and procedures. In addition, assists the Production Supervisor in the tasks of job direction, training of employees, and, most importantly, line output performance. Process Lead will report to the Production Manager.

•  Assists with setup of line, operations and troubleshooting of equipment in all areas.

• Controls all work on shift in accordance with direction given by the Production Manager

• Assists in training of all Operators in all aspects of the production jobs

• Assists with and follows the change over process from start to finish to ensure minimal downtime and waste.  Continues monitoring and adjusting line settings after product change to ensure a quick ramp up time to goal output.

• Troubleshoots and reports malfunctioning equipment, assist maintenance with repairs.

• Product changeover are planned, prepared and executed in a safe and effective way.

• Required machinery and equipment is operating in a safe and reliable manner.

What you bring:

•  Minimum of 3 years machine operation/ troubleshooting experience (manufacturing preferred)

• Experience in machine set-up and computers, including HMIs .

• Practical knowledge in a continuous flow automated manufacturing process 

• Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely

• Good understanding of H+S requirements and ability to work in a safe manner

• Able to use and analyze results from measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes, etc.

• The ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications
