Your Future Team:
Reporting to the National Specification Manager, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring that ROCKWOOL products and systems are the preferred choice within the UK construction market. You will play a key role within our commercial team, collaborating closely to deliver high standards across projects.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Building and maintaining strong, sustainable relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with ROCKWOOL’s core values
  • Taking responsibility for planning and prioritising technical sales activities and client engagement to achieve agreed business aims—including cost, sales, and profitability targets—using the CRM database
  • Managing and developing your personal portfolio of client projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborating closely with Area Sales Managers and Technical teams to maximise project outcomes
  • Providing information, literature, and samples of ROCKWOOL products to clients and stakeholders as needed
  • Presenting confidently to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Delivering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions to customers, helping them to gain a thorough understanding of ROCKWOOL products
  • Sharing new insights and information regarding business opportunities within the commercial team, contributing to profitable growth
  • Responding promptly and professionally to all sales and technical enquiries
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends and competitor activities, supporting business strategy
  • Maintaining an up-to-date pipeline of ongoing projects within the CRM system

What You Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial activities within the building/construction industry
  • Experience in specification-based selling within the construction sector
  • Good working knowledge of current building regulations
  • IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office packages and CRM systems
  • Capable of understanding and interpreting technical drawings
  • Ability to propose technical solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
  • Effective and persuasive communicator, both in writing and verbally
  • Strong planner and organiser, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
