Your Future Team

As Global Pricing Specialist, you will lead the creation and maintenance of re-usable, common pricing processes, principles & reporting across ROCKWOOL. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Transformation, your role will be based in Hedehusene, Denmark. There will be travel activity in this role.

What you will be doing:

  • Strategy support: Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the global pricing strategy, working to ensure alignment with ROCKWOOL’s commercial objectives and overall business strategy.
  • Process ownership: Take ownership of global pricing processes and collaborate with regional/local business units to establish, document and optimise pricing processes, policies, tools and reporting.
  • Global projects: Play a key role in global pricing projects, including the introduction of a new pricing engine along with price setting, price structure, discount management, and value-based pricing initiatives.
  • Performance & analytics: Consolidate and analyse pricing performance, market trends, and competitive benchmarks, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Expert advisor: Act as a “centre of excellence” for pricing topics, providing guidance to regional pricing teams and commercial colleagues.
  • Governance & data: Strengthen price governance by improving price discipline, compliance, and reporting standards globally. Leverage digital pricing tools and analytics to drive data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Stakeholder alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management teams to align pricing with commercial strategies and value propositions.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in pricing management, preferably in a global B2B manufacturing environment (building materials or similar industries).
  • Proven track record in developing and executing pricing projects & processes and successfully influencing stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with pricing analytics, financial modelling, and market research.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing software and ERP systems (e.g., PROS, SAP).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones. Expect 10-15 travel days per year.
