Your future team

You will join a competent team of Project Managers and Mechanical Engineers in Civil Section business unit. The team represents great diversity and in addition to your colleagues in your competence area, you will be part of experienced project group in your day-to-day work. You will be at our office in Hedehusene, but having the world as your work site.

How are you?

We are looking for a Civil Project Manager who will coordinate and manage civil design and construction activities in relation to the new investment projects in ROCKWOOL Group. You will represent Group Technology in close coordination with multiple stakeholders and teams in Denmark as well as abroad. Analytical thinking, solid construction experience, and excellent communication skills will be essential for the Civil Project Manager role described.

What you will be doing

Lead and execute design and construction management activities
Responsible for all construction project scope related quality, budget, time schedule, certification, approvals, and health & safety checks
Leading civil design consultant and all design related activities including permits in coordination with factory and process teams
Responsible for efficient cooperation in the core teams
Preparing design specifications and tender documents
Managing main and sub-contractors
Prepare and follow-up civil time schedule in accordance with overall project time schedule
Implementation of health & safety set-up and daily application through Site Safety Supervisor
Ensure that Site Safety Supervisor has the required mandate to take needed actions to ensure safety
Coordination with Factory organization design and site activities
Responsible for efficient budget follow-up in relation to design and construction activities
Clear communication to core team and stakeholders
No restriction to travel, moderate travel activity should be expected
Be proactive in all the responsibilities described above

Your qualifications and experience:

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree within civil or mechanical engineering and/or project management
At least 10 year of work experience
Strong project management record in large scale projects (5+ years’ experience)
Working experience with multinational teams and contractors
Industrial project experience is preferred
Familiarity with Prince 2 is a plus
Written and spoken English Language to a high professional business level is a must, additional knowledge in Danish is preferred
Driver’s license
