Your Future Team

You will become part of an experienced group of CAD Coordinators and Designers responsible for delivering layouts for both new (greenfield) and existing (brownfield) factory projects. Our team is focused on innovation, efficiency, and collaboration as we transform industrial environments.

 

What you will be doing

As a Piping Designer & Plant 3D Administrator, you will play a vital role in advancing our factory electrification initiatives by delivering accurate piping solutions and driving continuous improvement of our Plant 3D practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Piping System Design: Develop, optimize, and maintain industrial piping systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D for key utilities such as cooling water, compressed air, and process lines.
  • 3D Modelling & Integration: Create comprehensive 3D piping models and ensure effective integration and coordination with mechanical, civil, and electrical layouts.
  • Drawing Preparation: Produce high-quality isometric, general arrangement, and installation drawings to support construction, procurement, and on-site activities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage closely with the layout coordinator, project teams, and external partners to ensure the development of practical and constructible piping solutions.
  • Electrification Projects: Support infrastructure upgrades and develop piping layouts for projects transitioning from coal-based to electrically powered Cupola furnaces.
  • Plant 3D Administration: Oversee the management of Plant 3D specifications, catalogs, templates, and project setups. Provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting for team members.
  • Global Standardization: Lead efforts to develop, document, and implement best practices for piping design and data management across factory projects worldwide.

 

What you bring

  • Solid experience in industrial piping design and layout.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD Plant 3D, including expertise in project and specification management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in professional English.
  • Experience with software tools such as Navisworks, Inventor, Revit, Vault Professional, or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly desirable.
