Your future team:

ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is a global player in high-quality technical insulation across various industries. We provide insulation materials for the process, maritime, and offshore industries, among others. Our products are made worldwide in various ROCKWOOL factories, which you will also visit as part of your role. You will work from our location in Hedehusene and have colleagues all over the globe.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible, along with a colleague, for all matters related to quality and certification within ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RW-TI). As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will act as the link both at the factory and sales levels to ensure that our products meet both customer requirements and all relevant legal requirements and certifications.

Additionally, you will play an important role in the practical process of quality measurements. You will define the lines within our factories, in consultation with stakeholders, and ensure follow-up. You will do this in a coordinating role, seeking collaboration across all levels of the organization.

What you also will be doing:

  • Defining optimized product and production specifications for relevant RW-TI products.
  • Making agreements with factories on the implementation and maintenance of specifications, essential quality control plans, and reporting schedules.
  • Taking the lead in implementing (new) products on production lines.
  • Developing and executing harmonization plans (e.g., product performance, packaging) with the factories
  • Setting up and ensuring quality performance through agreements and KPI reporting.
  • Regularly meeting with factories to discuss current quality issues, new products, factory audits, etc.
  • Conducting analyses of quality complaints and consulting with factories about necessary improvement actions; reviewing factory inspection reports.
  • Participating in projects for both RW-TI and the ROCKWOOL Group.
  • Coordinating all matters related to certifications.
  • You will regularly be present at factory audits related to product certification.

What you bring:

  • You are accurate, analytical, and able to move easily within various levels of in the ROCKWOOL Group, external testing institutes, and certification bodies.
  • At least 5 years of (demonstrable) experience in a similar role.
  • Education within engineering and/or marketing.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability for work related travel.
