Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Shift: 1st
Pay Range: $34/hour to $36/hour

Role Overview:


As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support production by maintaining, repairing, and upgrading machinery to keep operations running smoothly. You will also help improve processes and equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Maintenance:

    • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery (Roll Formers, Stamping Equipment, etc.).

    • Ensure machinery operates efficiently to meet production goals and reduce scrap output.

    • Perform scheduled maintenance and respond to emergency repairs.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Work with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (up to 480V), and power transmission.

    • Set up and operate maintenance equipment like welders, torches, drills, and cranes.

    • Read blueprints and plans for machinery installation and modification.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement in machinery and processes.

    • Engage in engineering projects and collaborate on problem-solving.

  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety policies and procedures (OSHA standards).

    • Keep a clean, safe work environment using 5S and other best practices.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with production teams and other departments like engineering and toolrooms to address maintenance needs.

    • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.

  • Other Duties:

    • Assist with occasional facilities support (HVAC, mechanical, etc.).

    • Complete maintenance records and data entries.

    • Be available for overtime as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Required:

    • 3+ years of experience in machinery maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

    • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machinery types.

    • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a full shift.

    • Basic math and computer skills (MS Office, data entry).

  • Preferred:

    • 10+ years of maintenance experience.

    • Strong problem-solving and corrective action skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    • Certification as a Maintenance Technician or related field.
