What are you going to do?
You are fully responsible for the sales, service and support activities aimed at greenhouse vegetable cultivation in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). You are responsible for the sales strategy, budgeting and further optimization of the sales organization within the horticultural sector. You develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, direct customers and internal and external stakeholders. You will mainly work from home and on location at the customer. You meet your Grodan colleagues physically and virtually at fixed times. You participate in innovative projects within Grodan.
Tasks and responsibilities
Take advantage of all sales opportunities and establish and maintain long-term business relationships in the DACH countries;
Maintain good (network) working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (chain parties, grower groups, consultants and other suppliers) within the DACH area;
On behalf of Grodan, act as the face and point of contact for parties active in the greenhouse horticulture chain in the DACH countries;
You participate in trade fairs, seminars/conferences and open days;
Prepare and implement sales plans and budgets with the aim of improving overall sales effectiveness;
Internal reporting on sales and commercial activities, trends, competition, new and existing products and applications;
Supporting local recycling solutions.
What do we ask?
Completed HBO or WO education and at least 3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in an account management position; knowledge of and experience in the cultivation of greenhouse horticultural crops is an advantage;
You are strong in maintaining contacts with distributors, customers (internal and external), network relationships and other stakeholders;
You are driven, analytically strong and results-oriented. You take responsibility and can work independently;
As a connector you achieve the best results for your customers and Grodan;
You have excellent communication skills in German and English, spoken and written; Proficiency in the Dutch language is an advantage.
You enjoy traveling and have an eye for cultural differences.
