ROCKWOOL Group has been committed to incorporating global goals into our business. The global goals are closely related to ROCKWOOL, because our stone wool products and solutions help solve the current problems of sustainable development and make the world a better place. We are committed to reducing the negative impact of production by reducing carbon footprint, waste, water and safety incidents. But we can do more to support the goal of global sustainable development! Therefore, in June 2019, ROCKWOOL Group launched #iRockGlobalGoals -Idea Challenge sustainability campaign to all employees around the world, encouraging employees to participate in sustainable development activities and ROCK global goals together!
Both blue collar staff and office staff in ROCKWOOL actively participated in the campaign, deeply understood the concept of sustainable development, discussed and shared how to actively implement sustainable development goals in work and life, and put forward innovative ideas on how to use stone wool materials to solve serious problems, to achieve global goals in a new and more sustainable way.
