Compensation and benefits

We reward every one of our employees fairly for their contribution. In addition to salary, all staff members receive our standard benefits package which includes the following:

Holiday entitlement

We provide 30 days paid holiday each year in addition to public holidays.

Generous pension

We will contribute 5% of your pensionable pay into your pension account.  To receive this contribution, you are also required to contribute 5% of your gross pensionable pay into the account. 

Health care assistance

Every employee can claim back charges (to a given level) for optical and dental care, diagnostic appointments, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathy.

Employee helpline

We provide a free, confidential 24 hour helpline for employees. Professional advisors offer telephone support and information on how to deal with legal, tax, medical, lifestyle and travel issues.

Training and development

Each employee will have the opportunity to take part in development activities at ROCKWOOL that are tailored to support their performance and career prospects. Every new starter is fully inducted into the business and will take part in technical training, product demonstrations and a factory tour.

As part of our culture of honesty and transparency, we regularly undertake employee perception surveys, giving everyone the chance to offer their thoughts and ideas on working at the ROCKWOOL Group. We also involve our people in responding to and building on the results.
