Humber Hospital

The new Humber River Regional Hospital includes construction of a new facility on a new site in north-western Toronto, one of the most culturally diverse and fastest growing communities in Canada. Once completed, the Humber River Regional Hospital will offer a comprehensive range of services to support inpatient and outpatient programs The Humber River Regional Hospital, located in north Toronto, will have increased patient capacity from 549 beds up to 656 beds. The design and construction of the new hospital will adhere to the guidelines and sustainability principles of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating system, with a goal of achieving LEED® Silver certification.

CAVITYROCK®, manufactured in nearby Milton, Ontario helps achieve valuable credits for LEED® Certification by providing energy efficiency from a sustainable product. In addition, ROCKWOOL stone wool will perform long after the credits have been counted.
