Acoustic Ceiling Insulation

Our products can be easily installed in between ceiling cavities or by constructing a suspended wooden or metal ceiling – depending on where the insulation is being applied. 

With a suspended ceiling, insulation is packed between the ceiling joists before it is raised. 

Key tips⁴:

• Create a false ceiling – normally this is attached to the centre of the ceiling and raised, improving the acoustic performance of the floor above, as well as the room’s aesthetics. 
• Measure the ceiling surface – for an accurate guide to how much insulation you need, measure the surface area before ordering insulation. 
• Choose the right thickness – the thickness required relies on what type of ceiling you are insulating, and the products being used.
