Anica is HOK’s global sustainable design director and serves on the firm’s board of directors and design board. Based in Washington, D.C., she is a mayoral appointee to the D.C. Green Building Advisory Council and co-chairs the Building Energy Performance Standard Task Force, advancing zero-emissions codes. She chairs USGBC’s LEED Steering Committee leading LEED v5, serves on the New Buildings Institute board, and is a 2025 LEED Fellow.

Rebecca leads strategy to increase the impact of risk and resilience-related activities. With over two decades of experience, she focuses on improving built environment quality and safety in high-hazard communities globally, drawing from her background as a structural engineer and work on urban resilience.She holds a degree in civil and environmental engineering and a certificate in architecture from Princeton University; a Master of Science degree in structural engineering, mechanics and materials from University of California, Berkeley; and a Master of Public Administration from New York University.

Cheryl leads SGH's Building Science and Passive House Practices, specializing in building enclosure design and renovation. She uses advanced simulation software for thermal, energy, and daylighting analysis across curtain walls, rainscreens, roofing, and waterproofing systems. Cheryl has authored technical papers on embodied carbon, thermal bridging, and envelope performance, and was recognized as Building Design + Construction's Top 40 under 40 for 2022.
