The Senior Quality Consultant is responsible for guiding and driving the quality management strategy, ensuring that changes to implementations maximize synergy, savings, and benefits for the Group and OPCOs.
This role leads by example, mentoring and coaching junior consultants, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
The Senior Quality Consultant ensures, through collaboration with other consultants, that all support of RockBis Group is delivered consistently, with common data structures and definitions.
Acts as the SAP QM-expert, staying ahead of developments in the system and market, and proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
Keeps the line manager and stakeholders informed about status, plans, risks, and proposals for improvements in all support cases and projects.
Responsible for the quality and efficiency of consulting work, ensuring alignment with project assistance agreements and organizational objectives.
He has the authority to lead and complete agreed support tasks, projects, and responsibilities, and to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Works in accordance with the general procedures, policies, and guidelines for the Rockwool Group, with special attention to the RockBis Policies, Informatics Guideline, Data Security Guideline, Principles of Leadership, and the Project Management Guideline.

Reporting Structure

The Senior Quality Consultant reports functionally to a Functional Manager (Product Managers or Functional Team Lead) who oversees domain-specific development, skill growth, and performance evaluation.
Reports operationally to the SAP Support sub team – Team Lead, coordinating day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with SAP teams goals, and facilitating team cohesion.
Provides mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and cross-functional teams.cohesion.
Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:
Guide and drive the translation of business requirements (technical specification) into SAP QM solutions, ensuring best practices and strategic alignment.
Lead prioritization of assigned tasks and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Oversee and ensure all support tasks are delivered under agreed SLA and at a high level of quality.
Drive the configuration and optimization of the SAP QM system according to Group goals.
Ensure that modifications to quality management configuration are reviewed and approved by management/Solution Architect.
Identify, propose, and lead the implementation of add-on solutions beneficial for multiple OPCOs.
Foster clear and proactive communication with Functional Leads, line managers, and stakeholders.
Ensure all configuration and process documentation is maintained and up to date.
Coordinate and drive the rollout of new processes/functions across OPCOs.
Provide strong technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Collaborate with representatives from other IT areas, customers, and suppliers to drive development feasibility and innovation.
Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, initiating necessary tasks and ensuring complete follow-up.
Proactively clarify work instructions, analyze issues, and drive resolution.
Champion the ROCKWOOL DIGITAL Strategy of delivering Value-Added IT solutions to the Business.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new functionality that improves business efficiencies and productivity while aligning with the group’s architecture.
Provide functional guidance to ensure IT solution integrity and maintain updated documentation (technical specifications).
