1. Prize Giveaway
To enter the Prize Giveaway all entrants must leave a valid email address on completion of the NMBS Survey. By submitting a valid email address, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledge that failure to comply with them may result in disqualification.
2. The Promoter
The promoter is ROCKWOOL Limited (company number 00972252 – registered in England and Wales) whose registered office is at Wern Tarw, Pencoed, Bridgend, CF35 6NY (the “Promoter”).
3. How to enter
3.1 The title of the Prize Giveaway is ‘NMBS Survey’
3.2 The NMBS Survey will run from 08:30am on 19th April 2023 (the "Opening Date") to 15:30pm on 20th April 2023 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.3 All NMBS Survey entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 15:30pm on the Closing Date. All NMBS Survey entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.
3.4 To be entered into our free Prize Giveaway you must complete the ‘NMBS survey’ and provide a valid email address via the iPad form at the NMBS Exhibition 2023 event by the Closing Date. No other action is required by applicants to enter into the Prize Giveaway.
3.5 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the Prize Giveaway.
3.6 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for NMBS Survey entries that are lost or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Giveaway.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The Prize Giveaway is only open to residents working for builders merchants in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Giveaway or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the Prize Giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize Giveaway. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Giveaway.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept NMBS Survey entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
(d) incomplete.
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person to the Prize Giveaway. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Giveaway.
5. The Prize
5.1 The NMBS Survey entries will be monitored and the first one hundred entrants that have supplied a valid email address will receive a £5 digital amazon.co.uk gift card that will be sent to the first one hundred entrants within five working days after the Closing Date.
5.3 The prize is a £5 amazon.co.uk digital gift card. There are one hundred prizes up for grabs.
5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
5.5 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.
5.6 The prize may incur a tax liability for which the entrants will be responsible.
5.7 The Promoter may either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid Prize Giveaway took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the NMBS Survey entries to anyone who emails marketcom@rockwool.com or writes to the address set out in condition 2 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the Prize Giveaway.
5.8 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and/or NMBS Survey entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at marketcom@rockwool.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and NMBS Survey entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6. Claiming the Prize
6.1 Please allow five working days for delivery of the prize following the Closing Date of the Prize Giveaway.
6.2 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the chosen participant is not able to take up the prize.
6.3 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the chosen participants behalf.
7. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Data protection and publicity
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Statement which can be found here: Privacy Statement (rockwool.com). See also conditions 5.7 and 5.8 with regards to the announcement of the chosen participants.
9. General
9.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Giveaway.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.3 All enquiries relating to this Prize Giveaway should be made to the Promoter at the address listed in condition 2.
9.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
