When you arrive at the ROCKWOOL site, reverse park your vehicle and then report to the security office to the right of the car park to log your vehicle registration. 

There are spaces with charging points for electric vehicles to the right of main entrance to the building. You can download the charging app using the links below in case you need to  top up your account to charge your vehicle:

Once parked and registered at the security office, make your way into the main ROCKWOOL reception area and wait for a member of the Training Academy team to collect you. 

Please arrive in time for course registration at 8.30am.

The courses combine classroom learning with practical installation training. They provide expert guidance, along with hands-on experience of how to specify and install our products correctly.

Each training course runs for a full day. Registration begins at 8.30am, and courses finish at 3pm.  

Training courses take place throughout the week. Once you have registered your interest in one of the courses, we will contact you directly to discuss suitable dates.

If you have a preferred date in mind, we will try to accommodate it wherever possible, however, some flexibility may be required. Please provide as much detail as possible around preferred dates when you first register your interest in a course.

You can register your interest in attending a course on the Training Academy web page. Once you have registered your interest, a member of our team will be in touch directly to ensure you are booked on the right course for you at a suitable time.

You cannot book directly on a course online. Once you have registered your interest, we will then begin to process your request. When you register, please let us know whether the course is for someone with novice, intermediate or advanced levels of experience. The course content has been flexibly designed so it can be adapted and delivered for different levels of experience.

Each course accommodates between six and 12 delegates, to maximise learning opportunities for those attending.

Yes, we welcome group bookings and can adapt the practical element of the course, so it is appropriate for your team. Discounts are available for group bookings of three or more people.

Each course costs £290 per person plus VAT, payable no later than 14 days before the date of the course.

There are group discounts available as shown below:

• £270 per person plus VAT, if booking three or four delegates 
• If booking for five people or more, speak to the Training Academy team about available discounts after registering your interest

You will receive a certificate of attendance from ROCKWOOL.

Our courses are designed for industry professionals, and they are flexibly designed so we can tailor them for delegates with novice, intermediate and advanced levels of experience. If you’re working in or around the construction industry, we’re confident we can deliver a course that is right for you.

You will need a basic understanding of the building trade and the vital role that correctly-specified, installed and maintained insulation plays in supporting building performance and safety.

• Photo ID - such as a driving licence or passport
• Safety boots

You will need to bring photo ID with you on the day, such as a driving licence or passport. You may not be able to participate in the course if you fail to bring photo ID with you. 

You must also bring your own safety boots. Delegates will be required to wear full PPE for both the practical element of the training courses and during the tour of the ROCKWOOL factory. Other items required are hard hat, high-vis vest, and safety glasses. These items can be provided on the day, but you may wish to bring your own. We also suggest wearing old clothes as you will be undertaking practical installations and there is a chance that any clothing you are wearing may get dirty.

You do not need to bring any tools with you. Only ROCKWOOL tools will be permitted for use during the practical elements of the training courses. These will be provided to you. Personal tools will not be permitted for use, unless they are ROCKWOOL-branded.

CCTV cameras will be in operation within the Training Academy in the workshop areas where the practical sessions take place.

Personal photography is not permitted in the ROCKWOOL building, including in the Training Academy and on the factory floor. Group pictures will be taken by the course leader and later shared with attendees. If you do not wish to be pictured, inform the course leader on the day.

  Yes. There is ample free onsite parking.  

Yes. A buffet style lunch and refreshments will be provided. We will ask you to confirm any specific dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Yes, there is disability access at the Training Academy.
