ROCKWOOL participates in UN meeting on sustainable urban development

September 6, 2017

The ROCKWOOL Group takes part in high level UN-Habitat meeting on New Urban Agenda, 5-6 September 2017.

The cities in which we will live in 2030 are being designed in 2017, if not already planned. With the New Urban Agenda agreed by UN Member States last autumn as part of Habitat III, the intention is to set a new global standard for sustainable urban development and help us rethink how we plan, manage and live in cities.

The two-day high level meeting of the General Assembly is convened to maintain momentum around the implementation of the New Urban Agenda and to reflect on the positioning of UN-Habitat. The meeting will among others focus on best practices and success stories in relation to the implementation of the New Urban Agenda.

The ROCKWOOL Group brings inspiration and insights on including health, safety and wellbeing in the solutions for our homes, offices, schools, hospitals, airports and urban spaces. Whether it be improved acoustics, urban gardening, better indoor climate or exterior aesthetics, ROCKWOOL products improve people's lives.
