About this product
ROCKWOOL Comfortbatt® is a stone wool thermal batt insulation for exterior wood and steel studs. It's designed for exterior wall cavities, exposed floors, basements/crawlspaces and attic applications.
Comfortbatt features a unique flexible edge that allows for easy installation and helps prevent over compression to maintain its R-value, and is an effective way to improve a home’s energy efficiency.
Comfortbatt is noncombustible and fire resistant, and offers water and moisture resistance.

Comfortbatt features a unique flexible edge, which simplifies installation and enhances thermal efficiency. This innovative design ensures a snug fit within the cavity, optimizing insulation effectiveness and contributing to energy savings and overall building comfort.
Basement walls
Add Comfortbatt to basement wall assemblies with Comfortboard for an effective split insulation solution.
Attics and ceilings
With available 9.5" thick R38 insulation options, Comfortbatt can be added into attics or cathedral ceilings in a new build or retrofit project, enhancing thermal control and overall home comfort.
