Safe'n'Sound® insulation applications
Interior walls
Installing interior wall insulation is one of the best ways to reduce noise and help to protect against fire risks inside of a home. Safe'n'Sound can be added to partition and separation walls, creating a safer and more comfortable home or working environment. Common applications include bathroom or bedroom renovations, and when insulating around a home theater or noisy shared spaces.
Floors and ceilings
Safe'n'Sound, available in a 6" thickness, easily installs in floors and ceilings, supporting the acoustic and fire protection in basement renovations.
Installation
Safe'n'Sound is simple to cut with a serrated knife for an optimal fit around electrical boxes and penetrations. This snug fit, combined with it's high density fiber structure, helps to minimize airflow and reduce noise traveling between interior spaces.
