About this product
ROCKWOOL AFB® is a stone wool acoustical fire batt insulation designed for interior steel stud partitions. AFB is noncombustible and resists fire while absorbing sound to protect and soundproof your space.
AFB contributes to enhanced acoustical control and fire protection through numerous third-party fire- and acoustic-rated wall and floor-ceiling assemblies.
Made from stone, AFB provides the optimal balance of rigidity and flexibility, helping to make installations easy, fast, and efficient.
