We are seeking a dynamic, resilient, and driven Procurement Excellence Manager to join our North America Procurement team in Milton, ON.

The Procurement Excellence Manager plays a key role in advancing operational excellence and continuous improvement within the procurement team. This position is tasked with optimizing procurement, sourcing, and purchasing processes to align with business objectives. The role involves leading cross-functional initiatives, developing performance metrics, and promoting a culture of innovation and efficiency. By applying industry best practices and leveraging emerging technologies, the Procurement Excellence Manager will enhance procurement operations and contribute to the organization's strategic success.

Your future team:

You will become part of the procurement team and will be reporting to the Director of Procurement, North America.

What you will be doing:

  • Optimize procurement, sourcing, and purchasing processes.
  • Implement EDI processes for Purchase Orders.
  • Manage Master Data for Raw Materials across North America.
  • Develop KPIs to track procurement effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional projects for procurement improvements.
  • Drive cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure procurement aligns with business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations.
  • Train and support the team on best practices and processes.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge/certification.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project).
  • Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Experienced in managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Skilled in aligning procurement with business goals and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in problem-solving using A3, fishbone diagrams, and Lean methodologies.
