Apply

We are looking for an engineer with a good commercial understanding to set direction for and shape our Regulatory and Norms & Standard work.

Join us as our new Regulatory, Norms & Standard Manager to work with stakeholders in the industry, relevant organisations and regulatory bodies to create favourable business conditions for our technology and products. If new to the area, we will make sure you get the support to succeed.

This is who we are
You will join ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RTI), a global subsidiary of the ROCKWOOL Group. We are offering advanced technical insulation solutions for the process industry as well as marine and offshore.

You will become part of our Global Marketing team and report to the Marketing Director. We are an international team responsible for business development, regulatory and norms and standards, product management, marketing and communication.

We’re an ambitious team based on trust and empowerment. Because of our broad responsibility, we really have to help each other to succeed. We value initiative, new ideas and learning new things.,” says Lotte Jensen-Holm, Marketing Director.

This is the role
Working closely with Sales, Product Management and R&D and collaborating with key stakeholders in headquarter functions and regional subsidiaries, you will gain a broad, global role where you will be in charge of setting and executing our Regulatory, Norms & Standard strategy to support our sales efforts and long-term innovation. This also entails providing strategic guidance to our representatives in various regulatory bodies like EN / ISO, VDI, ASTM etc.

You will:

  • Seek to impact the relevant regulatory landscape and standards in Europe and North America to support our position and growth
  • Work closely with our specification sales team to support their work with global key accounts
  • Drive actions in connection with EU Energy Efficiency and Climate Change regulations to create new business opportunities for RTI
  • Work with industry associations to drive actions which support our current and future business
  • Constantly survey standard and regulatory developments within our area to seize new business opportunities
  • Monitor regulations on the Health and Safety area and develop new value propositions

This is what you offer
We are looking for a colleague with an engineering background, who also has a strong business acumen and strategic mind. We imagine that you are already working in a commercial role or would like to pursue that direction. Gaining experience in this role will be valuable if you for example later would like to move into Sales or other commercial roles. Since you will be working with many people, your stakeholder management skills are important. You are able to translate market developments (in this case of regulations and norms and standards) into commercial opportunities locally and globally. You like to dive into the details (of a standard) and are able to convert highly technical material into clear communication, providing clear and easy-to-understand situation descriptions and recommendations. You are ambitious and work with a high drive.

Moreover, you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in engineering or similar technical field
  • Have experience from an international company within process or manufacturing industries
  • Work structured and with an eye for the detail
  • Are fluent in English – Danish or German is an advantage but not a prerequisite

This is what we offer
You will be part of a company where we will trust and empower you to grow both professionally and personally, and where we provide you with the opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives with passionate colleagues.

In both your daily work and in the project teams, you will find yourself making friends with talented colleagues from other cultures and backgrounds. Join us in helping making customers’ operations safe for people, better for the environment and best for their business by working for a sustainable business.
