ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation services the Industrial, Marine and Off Shore Market while ROCKFON is a leading provider of acoustic stone wool and metal ceiling solutions and suspension systems headquartered in Chicago, IL with production facilities in Baltimore, MD and Chicago. This is the role:
Reporting to the Factory Manager you will ensure assigned projects are implemented according to given specifications, within given time limits and within agreed economic parameters. You will be responsible for a successful project implementation, including start up and training activities for the production and maintenance crews, together with the Factory Manager. You will ensure employees, including external contractors, are working within accordance of all health and safety requirements applicable in the area of responsibility as well as any Federal or State regulations. You will also be responsible for ensuring all installed machinery fulfills the Roxul USA, Inc. production policy and pending demands regarding fire, safety, environment (internal and external), together with a total environmental evaluation and risk analysis of the machinery.
This is what you offer:
- Post-secondary education.
- 5 years’ in project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
- Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong experience with MS Office products.
- Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Project
- Excellent Leadership skills.
- Experience and knowledge of sound employee relations.
