ROCKWOOL is a global organization with offices worldwide. In North America, our corporate headquarters are located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. This location is where many of the North American leadership functions and departments support our business in the region.

Working at our manufacturing facilities

ROCKWOOL is the world’s leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly stone wool insulation.

Since our founding in 1937, we have grown to operate 45 manufacturing facilities on three continents.

Our strong and growing presence in North America includes manufacturing sites in Marshall County, Mississippi as well as Milton, Ontario and Grand Forks, British Columbia. We plan to open our newest facility in Ranson, West Virginia in 2020.

ROCKWOOL offers manufacturing opportunities in four departments:

  • Operations: where our range of insulation products are made.
  • Engineering: provide technology solutions for our production process.
  • Maintenance: tradespeople that maintain equipment and building services.
  • Site Leadership and Supervisory: manage the plant’s operations and personnel.

Milton, Ontario

ROCKWOOL International entered the North American market for the first time in 1988. Milton is where you will find the group's first factory in the region and serves as the location for ROCKWOOL's head office for North American operations.

Senior Demand Planner

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, vetting and aligning on the company’s sales forecast with various stakeholders throughout the business that will include key resources in Sales, Operations, Finance, and Logistics. This will be done through effectively managing forecast accuracy (by Region, Product Group, Factory, and SKU) to meet or exceed all critical service, operating working capital (OWC) and financial results.

Bilingual Customer Service Representative

In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, order taking, processing, and invoicing, for the customer, and support to the sales team. The working hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, but the ideal candidate is able to work flexible hours scheduled between 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. You will be responsible for processing customer inquiries and concerns, recording and processing customer orders for commercial and retail customers received by email or phone for Mexico, USA, and Canada customers.

Supply Chain Analyst - SD Key User

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering data and conducting analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain. Maintain price records in SAP, create and generate reports, and support the customer service and accounts receivable staff as needed.

Production Manager - Factory

In this role, you are responsible for the execution of daily operations. The role will contribute to the positive development of employees, methods, and machinery. The Production Manager is also responsible for all health and safety requirements applicable in the area of responsibility, as well as ROPEX activities to continuously improve and development Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

The Architectural Sales Manager will work with Architects, Interior Designers, Specification Writers, General Contractors, Facility Managers, etc., to generate project specifications. In this role, you will also work very closely with our District Sales Managers to meet territory sales goals for all products.

Grand Forks, British Columbia

ROCKWOOL's western facility in Grand Forks, BC has been in operation since November 1999. This facility was the first expansion for ROCKWOOL within North America. The Grand Forks facility operates to meet the needs of North America's western regions.

Warehouse Manager

In this role, you will be will manage the shipping and warehouse functions to achieve objectives and standards in terms of housekeeping, service level, cost, efficiency, security, health and safety, and customer satisfaction. This position also coordinates the hourly workforce with factory demands to ensure the best resource utilization for the lowest overall cost.

In this role, you will report directly to the Canada Country Lead. Reporting to this position is the HR Administrator for the Grand Forks factory. The HR Manager will provide human resources management services to all salaried and hourly employees at this location.

Marshall County, Mississippi

ROCKWOOL's first expansion into the USA with its first US facility. In the spring of 2014, a new 600,000 sq. ft. facility opened in Marshall County, Mississippi; approximately 30 miles south of Memphis. This facility facilitates the growing demand for ROCKWOOL product in the US.

Production supervisor

In this role, you will report directly to the Production Manager and is based out of the Factory in Byhalia, MS. It is the responsibility of the Production Supervisor to ensure production is conducted as planned and according to agreed budgets, company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable legislative rules and regulations.

Storeroom Clerk

In this role, you are responsible for assisting with the procurement and organization of all machinery spare parks including consumables for the entire factory. The individual in this position will need to ensure adequate inventory levels, accurate quantity and control of inventory, and oversee that all equipment is operating in a safe and reliable manner at all times.

Jefferson County, West Virginia

With a targeted start up during the second half of 2020, the City of Ranson represents ROCKWOOL's second stone wool insulation manufacturing plant in the United States.

Industrial Construction Manager

In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager. The Industrial Construction Manager is responsible for the site and building construction including managing the construction supervision team (CSA, MEP, QA/QC), ensuring that contractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work, and supervising proper execution of all design details per plans and specifications on site.
