ROCKWOOL is a global organization with offices worldwide. In North America, our corporate headquarters are located in Milton, Ontario. This location is where many of the North American leadership functions and departments support our business in the region.
Just like in our manufacturing facilities, the culture in our head office is one of teamwork, respect, and support. ROCKWOOL is the world’s leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly stone wool insulation. Founded as a family business more than 80 years ago, we have grown to operate 45 manufacturing facilities globally. Our strong and growing presence in North America includes manufacturing sites in Marshall County, Mississippi as well as Milton, Ontario and Grand Forks, British Columbia. We plan to open our newest facility in Jefferson County, West Virginia in the fall of 2020.
ROCKWOOL offers manufacturing opportunities in four departments:
- Operations: transform the stone and other raw materials into quality products.
- Engineering: functions as the key technology provider to our production facilities.
- Maintenance and tradespeople: provide maintenance services for company equipment and buildings to pursue plant improvements and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervisors: manage the plant and personnel to achieve objectives in terms of safety, quality, quantity, cost, efficiency, environment, and customer service.
