The hospital is a redevelopment project at the site of the former Lady Templer Hospital located at Taman Midah, approximately 7km from Kuala Lumpur Centre. Valued at RM300 million, this 39.1 acres facility provides inpatient services with 166 inpatient beds and capacity to expand up to 300 beds. Outpatient and community based services are also available.

Designed to be both environmental and people-friendly, the hospital strikes a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Apart from being equipped with disabled-friendly facilities throughout the premises, great attention has been given to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces. This allows the penetration of light and surrounding landscapes into the building and promotes interaction between patients, staff and visitors.

Like all other rehabilitation facilities, a serene environment is essential to ensure optimal comfort during recuperation. As such ROCKWOOL ThermalRock B80 was used in the construction of a double skin roofing system to meet this requirement. Due to the product's flexibility, it allows the material to be butt jointed tightly ensuring all gaps are filled within the roofing system to give maximum thermal efficiency. Being naturally porous, the fibres create air voids to promote sound absorption, sustainably diffusing undesirable noise. ThermalRock also helps to slow down the spread of fire thereby providing critical extra minutes for patients and occupants to escape.
