Watch video highlights from our COP15 events
The Rockwool Group organised several events during the COP15 UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen in order to raise the awareness of the huge energy savings potential in buildings. Although we had hoped for a more ambitious climate agreement, we are satisfied with the massive international media attention on the need for better energy efficiency in buildings.

Buildings can deliver large cost-efficient CO2 reductions, says the International Energy Agency, referring to the latest analysis presented today at the COP15 climate summit in Copenhagen.

New report: Energy efficiency in buildings is the key solution to a low carbon society
In its new annual climate and environmental report, leading insulation producer Rockwool International A/S substantiates the claim that energy efficiency in buildings is the key solution to obtain a low carbon society. The solid evidence presented in the report is aimed to inspire and help the politicians and other decision makers to speed up agreements on climate goals and actions.

Rockwool Group President to G8 summit leaders: Reduce the climate crisis and the jobs crisis at one blow
Pick the low hanging fruits. Fears intensify that the G8 summit discussions about climate change and the current financial crisis will end fruitlessly. European Parliament wants to strengthen energy efficiency in buildings

Rockwool Award to qualify the climate debate
The Danish Rockwool Award 2009 goes to one of the most advanced thinkers in environmental sustainability in the design of cities and buildings as well as industrial processes: author, architect and designer William McDonough. He is known in particular for the Cradle to Cradle environmental concept. Cradle to Cradle has been called the foundation of the next industrial revolution and has, particularly in recent years, generated enthusiasm all over the world.

Rockwool Group win £1m contract for BBC building

Rockwool insulation for BSkyB
The Rockwool Group's UK company has won the contract to supply around £600,000 of insulation materials for BSkyB’s new state-of-the-art building project near Heathrow in West London, which it is set to be Europe’s most sustainable broadcast facility for Sky Sports and Sky’s entertainment channels.
