The Rockwool Group expands in the East
Rockwool International A/S has decided to establish its second production facility in Russia. The factory will be placed in Vyborg close to the Finnish border and will support the growing Russian market as well as Rockwool Group sales in the Baltic region.

Architects' role in question
A remarkable ruling in a UK court held the specifying architects liable after a fire involving sandwich panels of foamed plastic cores. Sales of firesafe Rockwool insulated panels continue to grow. Rockwool Ltd. invests in new production equipment to keep up with the demand.

Rockwool share enters MidCap index
Rockwool International B share enters the so-called MidCap+ index on the Copenhagen stock exchange. The stock exchange published on 12 June 2003 the names of the 22 companies, which will make up the new index as of 1 July.
