Vacant positions
As a Rockwool employee in Denmark, you will work for Rockwool International A/S or Rockwool A/S. These two companies are a part of the Rockwool Group, which is based in Hedehusene, just outside Roskilde, and employs over 8,000 people worldwide
Rockwool International A/S is the parent company in the Rockwool Group with its Headquarter in Hedehusene just outside Roskilde and it is the part of the Group that primarily employs highly educated, knowledge-intensive employees. In Rockwool International A/S we have employees working as engineers and technicians, focused on developing and implementing new production technology, factories and production lines world wide. It is also here that we have group patent engineers working on protecting our freedom to operate, as we do have R&D specialists and researchers to work on discovering the energy-efficient solutions of the future. Rockwool International A/S has also many other relevant group functions, e.g. within communication, legal affairs, HR, finance and IT, which in their special field of expertise and approaches, support the daily operations and production of Rockwool.
Rockwool A/S, on the other hand, deals with production and sales. It focuses on day-to-day operations and on actually doing business based on our ongoing product development. These two separate departments of the Rockwool Group each have their specific areas of work - and also, therefore, a different mix of employees.
Many different types of jobs
We are proud to be a company with many engineers and production employees. And while our success is primarily due to our ability to develop unique solutions and then introduce them to the market, we obviously also offer many other kinds of jobs involving finance, law, insurance, HR, sales and marketing, customer service, logistics and the environment.
We also have our own corporate IT department, in which specialists and project managers work side by side. Then, obviously, there is our engineering department, which builds all our production facilities and lines around the world, and which can best be described as a professional playground for ambitious and internationally-oriented engineers, regardless of whether their degree is in mechanical, civil or electrical engineering - or something different entirely, for that matter.
