"If you get a good idea you are always encouraged to go ahead and explore the options."

- Peter, Chief Engineer

“My tasks cover everything from single equipment to production lines. I perform customer needs analysis, specification of process equipment, design, supervision of installation, running in and handing over. I am a trained electrician, so if the job allows it I like taking a screwdriver and work on the machine myself. This means that days are never the same, and that was actually one of the main reasons why I applied for a job at the Rockwool Group in the first place.”

“Another good reason to join the Rockwool Group is that you get to work with the most advanced and state-of-the-art technology. The Rockwool Group has always been known to have a strong, technical production platform, and the company is driving some of the worlds most refined and efficient production facilities. There is much space for creativity and innovative thinking. If you get a good idea you are always encouraged to go ahead and explore the options.”

“My base is the Rockwool headquarters in Hedehusene, but travelling is an important part of the job. The Rockwool Group has in recent years carried out major capacity projects at the factories in Poland, Canada and the UK, and this has been hard work but also most rewarding. It is very satisfying to get things up and running and to put a smile on customers' faces. After 11 years at the Rockwool Group I have worked on projects at almost all of the Group’s factories, and the travelling sure requires an understanding family. But the Rockwool Group is a fair company, and if you need to stay at home for some special occasion, this can of course be arranged.”
