- Kristian, Senior Project Manager

“I am a member of an international team of specialists and researchers who work on discovering the energy efficient building solutions of the future. My main focus right now is a development project which fulfils the triple function of thermal insulation, weather protection and aesthetic improvement. The project is still at an early stage and we have recently started a test production at the Rockwool Group’s production plant in Roermond in the Netherlands.”

“These years, we see a growing demand for new insulation products with outstanding properties. In order to meet the demands the Rockwool Group is gearing up its focus on customers and markets, and this also has an impact on our research and development work. Today our innovative focus is driven by costumers need rather than technological fascination, and the project teams typically gather competences from many areas – engineering, chemistry, production and construction to mention some examples.”

“Working at a big company like the Rockwool Group means that you got plenty of opportunities to seek new challenges within the company. I know by experience that there is a strong support to start new development projects and to explore new opportunities. You also get to travel and work with colleagues in many countries, and for me this has been an excellent way to broaden the cultural horizon and to develop my skills in language and other areas.”

“Last but not least, I am happy to be part of a company with a strong social and eco-friendly profile. The Rockwool Group is one of the global leaders in energy efficient building solutions and this, in combination with high ethical standards, played a huge role when I applied for a job.”
