“I am trained as a shop assistant and have previously been self-employed. I also worked as a team leader and project manager in the call centre industry for seven years, and now view my broad experience as an advantage. Before I got my current job, I was employed by the Rockpanel department within Rockwool, so I already knew that Rockwool was a good place to work where I would be able to develop.”
Being valued and heard means everything
“Specifically, I work on managing orders for production, and on optimising and improving the efficiency of the loading of trucks and containers from the factory at Cigacice in Poland. I am currently responsible for our export customers in Taiwan and Israel, and I work closely with Rockwool’s sister companies throughout Europe. I also set up guidelines and help to create efficient processes, update important data and project manage a plethora of orders. In other words, my working day is filled with many different tasks that require involvement, coordination and communication. Fortunately, I am able to influence my work to a large extent. This is very important to me, especially as it also allows me to know that my efforts are valued.”
“As well as being challenged professionally, I appreciate the good working conditions and the many nice, friendly colleagues who help me to develop both professionally and personally. Among other things, I have attended a conference which involved meeting the people I liaise with to share knowledge and strengthen the relationships between the many different countries and cultures involved. I also value the opportunity to work for a dynamic company that is not only undergoing rapid growth and constant change, but is also very environmentally-conscious and a pioneer in the development of products that can reduce global energy consumption.”
