"Although we are working with standard systems and components at our factories, we still got a high degree of freedom to solve the task at hand." - Christian, Senior Engineer |
“The Rockwool Group has in recent years opened a number of new production lines which is based on the most modern and efficient production technology. With 23 factories and more in the pipeline, it is crucial for our efficiency and flexibility to standardize our use of technology and machines. My job is to assure, in close cooperation with the rest of the team, that best practise is reused and that solutions are quality assured.”
“At the Rockwool Group we have standard solutions that include everything important in designing and implementing new equipment. Although we are working with standard systems and components at our factories, we still got a high degree of freedom to solve the task at hand. The solution is never given on beforehand, and this is a very motivating approach, I think."
“I also appreciate that the Rockwool Group offers many types of jobs. I started in the company as a specialist in the technology area, and today I am working as a project manager with responsibility for technical projects at our factories world wide. Depending on your interests and qualification you also got the opportunity to be a staff leader.”
“As an engineer at the Rockwool Group you get to work in an international environment, where you will come into contact with colleagues and partners from many different countries and cultures. It is therefore extremely important to be open and respectful and to be able to adjust to local conditions as travelling is an important part of the job. The travelling part was actually one of the main reasons why I applied for the job, but now that I got small children I have cut down on the travelling activities, and this is totally accepted within the Group.”
